A sword for the Lord and for Gideon . This story for me is definitely of the “wow God” variety . Gideon raised up an army of 32000 to bring against an army of 135000. God reduced this army several times to just 300 men (insert here “I’m sorry what?!”) These men went into battle with each carrying a trumpet and a torch in a jar. With only this in their hands and their voices as swords they defeated the entire camp. Woah. . It was God’s intention that they would win that battle. The bible mentions
